Erin Dillenbeck, widely known as “Dynamite,” is the owner and lead tattoo artist at The  Branded  Barby. With a rich background in the arts and a passion for creative expression, Erin has been a prominent figure in the tattoo industry since 2008.

Her educational foundation includes an Associate's Degree in Art Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design—two disciplines that continue to shape and form her tattoo work. This formal training, combined with nearly  2  decades of hands-on experience, allows Erin to bring a refined and deeply skilled approach to every piece she creates.

An award-winning artist, Erin’s talent and dedication have earned her a spot among some of the industry's most respected professionals. She has showcased her work at high-profile events including the Motor City Tattoo Convention in 2019, as well as both the Michigan and Toledo Tattoo Conventions in 2023. Her participation in these events reflects not only her skill but her ongoing commitment to growth and excellence in her craft.

Erin specializes in black and grey realism, a style that speaks to her love of dark  gothic  imagery  and visual storytelling. She is particularly drawn to the challenge of creating pieces that rely solely on shades of black and grey, using contrast and highlights to bring lifelike dimension and emotion to the skin.

Whether she's designing a custom tattoo or mentoring artists at her studio, Erin brings passion, precision, and a touch of dynamite energy to everything she does.

Scott DeWolfe

TATTOO ARTIST

With over 25 years of experience in the tattoo industry, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge, artistry, and passion to every piece he creates. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Scott’s discipline, precision, and commitment to excellence are evident in his work and in the relationships he builds with his clients.

Throughout his long-standing career, Scott has earned numerous awards and accolades that reflect his versatility and mastery of the craft. While he is fully capable of working in virtually any style,  Scott has a particular passion for black and grey work. His ability to move seamlessly between bold, high-impact color pieces and the refined shading of black and grey makes him a sought-after artist for clients with a wide range of visions.

Scott is especially drawn to tattoos inspired by the natural world. He has a true gift for capturing the essence and beauty of animals, landscapes, and organic forms.  His portrait work is equally remarkable, often praised for its lifelike detail and emotional depth. Hailey  Cavazos

TATTOO ARTIST

Hailey is a talented tattoo artist with a vibrant imagination and a lifelong passion for art and self-expression. A graduate of the University of Michigan – Dearborn, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts, a field that has helped shape her ability to connect with people, understand their stories, and translate their ideas into compelling visual designs.

From a young age, Hailey was captivated by the world around her. Her artistic curiosity was sparked by the colors in cartoons, the intricate details in dolls, and the abstract patterns she found in clouds, nature, and everyday life. For her, art has never been just a hobby—it’s a way of seeing the world and finding beauty in even the smallest things. She believes that art, in all its forms, is essential to life. It offers people a powerful way to express themselves, share their experiences, and find deeper meaning in the world.

This love of creativity and connection is what led Hailey to the world of tattooing. Each new design and every client she meets deepens her passion for the craft. She finds endless inspiration in the stories shared by her clients and is constantly amazed by the creativity and meaning behind each tattoo idea. For Hailey, the tattoo process is a collaborative journey—one where she helps bring a client’s vision to life while adding her own artistic flair.

Hailey specializes in New School  cartoon-inspired tattoos. She’s known for her use of bold lines, vibrant colors, and whimsical designs that bring playful energy to the skin. That said, her style is not limited to just one aesthetic—she’s always open to exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of her artistic range.

Youssef  Mazloum

Youssef  is  a  passionate  and  versatile  tattoo  artist  with  over  a  decade  of  experience  in  the  industry.  

Known for his creative vision and technical precision, he takes pride in helping clients bring their unique ideas to life, no matter the style or complexity. While Youssef is proficient in working across a wide range of tattoo styles, he has developed particular expertise in black and grey designs, intricate lettering, and effective cover-up work. He is also highly skilled in creating vivid, eye-catching color/anime tattoos.

Mary  Marinescu

FIRST  YEAR  ARTIST

Mary is a first-year tattoo artist at The  Branded  Barby under the guidance of the studio’s owner, Dynamite. Since beginning her apprenticeship in January 2024, Mary has shown tremendous growth, dedication, and talent, quickly making a name for herself as a first-year  artist.

A lifelong creator, Mary has always been passionate about art and imaginative expression. From a young age, she found joy in bringing ideas to life through drawing, painting, and visual storytelling. For her, tattooing is more than just an art form—it’s a way to inspire confidence, foster healing, and help people express themselves in powerful and personal ways. Her goal as a tattoo artist is to contribute to body positivity and self-love by designing pieces that make her clients feel truly seen, empowered, and proud of the skin they’re in.

Mary’s favorite styles include realism, neo-traditional, illustrative, etching, and engraving. Her work reflects a strong sense of detail, depth, and emotional resonance, often drawing from both classical influences and modern techniques. Whether she’s sketching intricate line work or planning a dynamic, color-rich design, she brings passion and creativity to every project.

Jessa  Michelle

LEVEL  4  APPRENTICE

Jessa is a dedicated apprentice whose journey into the world of tattooing began in October 2021. She originally began her apprenticeship under the guidance of Rev. Scott, where she began to lay the foundation for her artistic development and tattooing skills. In 2023, she made the courageous decision to pause her training to reflect, explore her options, and gain clarity on her long-term career goals.

After some soul-searching, Jessa rediscovered her passion for tattooing and made the exciting choice to return to the craft with renewed purpose and enthusiasm. Now continuing her apprenticeship at The  Branded  Barby, she’s grateful for the opportunity to grow as an artist within such a talented and supportive team.

Art has always played a meaningful role in Jessa’s life. She has a deep appreciation for all forms of creativity, but tattooing holds a special place in her heart. The idea of leaving a permanent mark—both literally and emotionally—on someone through art brings her joy and fulfillment. For Jessa, tattooing is more than an artistic expression; it’s a personal connection, a memory, and a celebration of individuality.

Her preferred styles include realism, black and grey, and scripture tattoos, all of which allow her to combine technical detail with emotional depth. She is also eager to expand her skills and is especially excited to begin learning watercolor techniques in the near future. Jessa is passionate about continuous learning and looks forward to experimenting with new styles and pushing the boundaries of her creativity.

With a warm personality, strong artistic instincts, and a determination to grow, Jessa is well on her way to becoming a standout artist. She’s excited to meet new clients, collaborate on meaningful designs, and bring each person’s vision to life—one tattoo at a time.

Tesza  Schellenberg

LEVEL  3   APPRENTICE

Tesza is an apprentice at The  Branded  Barby working under the mentorship of award-winning artist Dynamite. Since beginning her apprenticeship in October 2023, Tesza has quickly proven herself to be a dedicated and talented emerging artist with a unique vision and a strong artistic voice.

From a young age, Tesza has been deeply drawn to all forms of art and self-expression. She believes that the human body is a temple—and just like any great temple, it deserves to be adorned with meaningful and beautiful art. For her, tattooing is the perfect medium for celebrating individuality, telling stories, and creating something permanent that resonates deeply with the person wearing it.

Tesza’s artistic style leans heavily toward black and grey work, with a focus on her own illustrative and neo-traditional designs. Her love for linework, shading, and emotionally expressive imagery gives her tattoos a distinct and powerful aesthetic. She enjoys developing original concepts and transforming them into wearable art that reflects both her style and the client's personal story.

Outside of tattooing, Tesza is a creative spirit who thrives on exploring new techniques and pushing her artistic boundaries. Her commitment to learning and growing in her craft is evident in everything she does—from the way she studies technique to the thought she puts into each design.

She is making great strides in her apprenticeship and is already gaining recognition for her attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism.   As she continues to develop her skills, Tesza is well on her way to becoming a standout artist in the tattoo community.

Olivia  Plotkowski

LEVEL  1  APPRENTICE

Olivia is a passionate and driven apprentice at  The  Branded  Barby  currently honing her craft under the mentorship of veteran artist Dynamite. Though she’s at the very beginning of her journey in the tattoo industry, Olivia’s dedication, talent, and artistic curiosity are already setting her apart as one to watch.

Her love for art began early in life. As a child, Olivia was captivated by drawing, exploring different mediums, and expressing her thoughts through creative visuals. That early fascination grew into a lifelong ambition to share her artwork with the world in meaningful ways. Now, as she embarks on her apprenticeship, she sees tattooing as the ultimate platform for creative expression—one that allows her to leave a lasting, personal mark on people’s lives. One of her biggest goals is to one day take her tattooing across the globe, working with clients in other countries and experiencing the universal language of art through different cultures.

Olivia’s favorite tattoo styles include realism and blackwork—both of which allow her to explore contrast, depth, and fine detail in her designs. She is especially drawn to pieces that evoke emotion and tell stories through subtle shading and bold, intentional lines.

Outside of tattooing, Olivia spends her time drawing, listening to music, reading, and writing—all of which continue to inspire and form her creative process. Her deep appreciation for storytelling and visual expression shines through in her work, even at this early stage of her apprenticeship.

Although Olivia is just beginning her professional tattoo journey, she is committed to learning, growing, and giving her all to every opportunity. With a strong artistic foundation and a clear vision for her future, she’s well on her way to becoming a talented and versatile artist!
